Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the beta testing period last?

The beta testing period typically lasts 4-8 weeks. We'll notify you in advance before the program ends.

Will my data be private and secure?

Absolutely. We take privacy seriously and all data is encrypted and stored securely. Beta test data follows the same privacy standards as our production app.

How do I participate in UX research through Maze?

Once you're accepted into the beta program, you'll receive periodic email invitations to participate in Maze studies. These are quick, interactive tests (usually 5-10 minutes) where you'll test new features and provide feedback on design decisions. Your insights directly influence the final product!

What's the Discord community like?

Our Discord server is a welcoming space for beta testers to connect, share tips, report bugs, and get support. You'll have access to dedicated channels for feedback, feature discussions, and social interaction. Our team is active daily and hosts weekly AMAs (Ask Me Anything) sessions.

Do I need to provide feedback regularly?

We ask for feedback at least once a week through Discord, Maze surveys, or our in-app feedback tool. The more engaged you are, the more impact you'll have on shaping ESCAPE!

Can I invite friends to the beta?

Beta testers will receive 3 invite codes after the first week to share with friends and family. They'll also get access to our Discord community and Maze research opportunities.

Escape changes the self-care and emotional well-being AI space. It would be unethical to use your data in any way that could harm you or others.
